Looking for top opinions

Okay, I'm basically looking for an Alpha-ish way to ask a friend if he would like to be my flat mate..I am open to all opinions...
We have been friends for years but things went a bit sour after backpacking together for so long..
We both know each other really well and we are both clean and organized..

I wouldn't look for an "alpha" way to ask. First you should try to rekindle your friendship, send him a text, get to speaking and apologize. Especially if you feel you did something wrong. Just work on regaining your friendship first, then you can ask.
