Great point.
I also think of peacocking as a key or doorway that gives little HINTS about these different aspects of personality and identity, and provides a means to delve further for anyone who has the interest and the courage to do so.

Which reminds me that one of the big PUAs (Style, I think it was?) used to wear a key pendant on his chest, and he told girls that it was a "key to his heart" for anyone who was worthy of it. I think a lot of different aspects of peacocking can function in the same way, being keys to various inner aspects of the PUA. They give conscious hints to the target, while at the same time functioning on a subconscious level to attract, DHV, and supply meaning, mystery, and intrigue to the viewer.

P.S. Prophet - chimps, baboons, and now gorillas?! I'm LOLing.... monkeys seem to be plentiful lately.

I sometimes wear a dollar bill ring on my ring finger. When asked about it, I tell them, "I'm married to money."

Thumbs up

It makes you stand out from the crowd, women approach peacocked guys.
The trick is being congruent with it. If you are not congruent, then yes it DOESlook try hard. If you are congruent its fine

well for me i think peacocking is awesome... yea it seems like your trying hard but thats not it at all... its to stand out from your everyday joe so that people can see that you have confidence and that you are in a comfort zone where you don't car what people think and are doing it just because you like it... peacocking doesn't have to be something tottally outrageous, jus something small like me i where a wierd hat that maztches me and a ring, and just clean cut clothes.. you don't gotta get a sambero to stand out haha... its just something to give you a edge when you open a set.... but thats my opinon well good sarging you guys..
