This happened through facebook, I'm not officially introduced to the HB but I've seen her before, she's definitely an HB9.5.
Me: Did you mean to send me that? [opener that I saw somewhere] HB: What??? Me: Oh, sorry, wrong pm. Are you an actress? [Tried going Cajun style, probably shouldn't have] HB: Is that the best line you can come up with? Because it didn't work. Me: Don't worry, you're not my type. I noticed your style and how you dress elegantly, I took a few filming classes in germany (was actually photography but ok). Tell me three things about yourself that would make me get to wanna know you and maybe I'll add you. [A mix of cajun + style + disqualification? Probably shouldn't have] HB: Oh, we're even then, because you're not my type as well, not even close. You're a presumptuous and pretentious jerk. I won't tell you one, much less three. I don't wanna know you. Bye. [Ouch, maybe in another life.] This situation strikes me as non-repairable, so I won't even bother. But what I think I did wrong is that I asked her for some values when I showed very little values myself, what do you guys think? Last edited by 130n; 06-11-2012 at 05:50 PM. |

Non-repairable, but why would you want to anyway? I'll never understand why some guys chase girls that show them no respect.
The biggest mistake was saying "Tell me three things about yourself that would make me get to wanna know you" before she was attracted to you. Forcing qualification before attraction gets you blown out. Remember, it's A2 then A3. Not A3 then A2. Quote:

Yeah, you're right. It was not cajun style, I used his routine on a wrong situation. Thanks for the input, it has been helpful.
And quite frankly, a while back I would beg her pardon and kiss her feet. With the new mentality that I have I don't want to be that guy, ever. |

Maybe it's just me but hitting on somebody (let alone an HB) on Facebook is a DLV in itself. Using an approach like that, then - ouch. Do you have any idea how many people message her? That's a bitch shield plain and simple. People are on Facebook to socialize and to know people, using a come-on like that would result in a bitch shield from anybody. Do you think you'd react differently if a girl you weren't attracted to in the first place messaged you saying "you're not my type, tell me 3 reasons why I should add you"? I'd tell her to fuck off. As Phelim said, A2 then A3. Also, I don't think gaming HBs on Facebook is EVER a good idea. Last edited by 808; 06-13-2012 at 05:03 AM. Reason: Wrote DHV, meant DLV. |

What has she got to prove to you???? Zilch, asking someone to qualify before they want to qualify to you stings of arrogance and (trust me as someone who used to be extremely arrogant) that does not get anyone laid .

Indeed, thanks to the insight and opinions here I found out that my game theory sucks. I'm going to work on it.
