This makes a lot of sense based on my own experience plus that of my wingmen and students.

Four hours a night in-field, five nights a week. If a quarter of your time in the club is actually spent in a set, you can get pretty damn good at opening in four weeks. Will you know everything there is to know about opening? Probably not. But will you be able to approach a group of beautiful women and be able to engage conversation more times than not? Absolutely.

I'm going to write a full article on how to apply this concept to pick-up in a couple of weeks (after I read the book), so keep an eye out for it on the blog.

In the meantime, let me know your thoughts on this. How long did it take you to become proficient at opening? One set sticks out in my mind because I was very alpha (almost to the point of being an asshole), which is not my normal style. I was on the dance floor, and this girl started rubbing her ass on me. Good girl :) So, I turned around and we started dancing for a minute. Then, we started trying to talk, although it was really loud. She said that her name was Courtney, and I responded "Oh, sorry, but I already met 1 Courtney tonight, and I have a 1 Courtney limit per night." I smiled and turned away from her and started talking to my friends for a few minutes. About 30 minutes later, I made eye contact with her, and she smiled at me. I gave her the middle finger! This seems like such a dick move, but it worked! She started laughing and came over and started grinding on me. Then, we danced for a bit, and she started talking to me again. I put my finger to her lips and said "You know what? You talk too much." Then, she kissed me. These are all things that I would NEVER have done before learning about the game. It just shows you that some girls respond well to alpha asshole guy. I'm talking superpower good.

I know all the theory but lack the practical experience. Just looking for some likeminded individuals to go out about 3-4 times a week and open at least 12 sets a night. Something along the lines of the newbie challenge. I'm looking to be very systematic about getting better but also looking to have FUN!

I spoke with Mystery the other day and he told me to "flood" the scene this summer. Which I guess means going out as much as I can and opening 30+ sets a night.
